EarthLink is a great DSL alternative to some of the other providers out there.  They typically have better service/software than the baby bells - and usually charge less/month (after all the fees are rolled in).  They currently offer speeds up to 3 Mbps and 20 hours of free dial-up for when you are on the road/etc...  This service has been confirmed to work great with Xbox LIVE.  The current offer is $19.99/month for the first 6 months.
