PRICE DROPS ARE GOOD...

With the rolling $29.99 12 Month Xbox LIVE card deals going on over the last few weeks, one had to wonder if an Xbox LIVE Gold account price drop was in the works...

While not officially announced by Microsoft, it appears that a drop to $39.99 (from $49.99) is apparently coming soon.

Don't let your Xbox LIVE account auto-renew at the $49.99 price.  If you are a Costco member, they are available in-store for $29.99.  Otherwise, you can grab one from Amazon for $38.99 w/ free shipping.
