The Halo 3 Legendary Edition made waves early last week as it became available and then quickly sold out on Amazon.com. 

As a result, the Legendary Edition made the top of the best sellers list.  This is quite an accomplishment when you consider that the game costs $129.99 (limited edition) and does not yet have a firm release date (besides late 2007). 

This early buzz and quick sell out certainly bodes well for Microsoft as they prepare for the all important Christmas season, where all three consoles will be battling it out for next generation supremacy.
