Halo Wars is Coming!
The highly anticipated release of Halo Wars is coming soon (Tuesday, March 3, 2009).

Amazon is currently offering release day delivery (free w/ Amazon Prime), in addition to a code to download a special in-game Warthog vehicle with flame decals. If you are not an Amazon Prime member, and don't want to splurge for release day delivery, the free super saver shipping option is available as well. Flamed warthog codes will be emailed within 10 business days after the release date.

Buy.com has just notified us that they will be offering Halo Wars Limited Edition for a low $67.99 ($79.99 list) w/ free shipping starting Monday, March 2, 2009 (around 4 am EST). We will update once this deal goes live.
Right now, you can order the Halo Wars Regular Edition for $52.99 (save $7).

Midnight Openings:
GameStop announced that it will host midnight launch events for Microsoft’s Halo Wars at more than 2,000 stores nationwide. Starting at 10 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009, customers can visit their local GameStop and get in line to be the first to get their hands on the newest Halo game.
Fans will have the opportunity to bring out their inner Warthog by participating in one or more of the following events:
- Halo 3 tournaments
- Warthog races
- Character dress up contests
- Trivia challenges
Event goers will also get a chance to score Halo removable skins for their Xbox 360 at participating stores, while supplies last.
Most participating GameStop locations will begin their events at 10 p.m. local time; however, customers are asked to contact their local store to confirm the exact time of the event.
