Gears of War 2 Lancers in High Demand

Gears of War 2 Amazon.com Exclusive Lancer

The Amazon exclusive Gears of War 2 Lancer pre-orders have skyrocketed to the top of the Amazon Best Seller list.  The Lancer is selling for $139.99 and is set to release on November 7, 2008. 

They are currently offering a free version of Gears of War 2 (game) with the Lancer purchase.  This is perhaps another way to spin a Super Deluxe version of Gears of War 2 similar to the Halo 3 "Cat Helmet" edition sold last year.  The Lancer is exclusive to Amazon, so it will likely not be quite as common compared to the Halo 3 Helmet edition.

The Lancer trigger activates a motorized "chainsaw" sound and vibration, has a removable clip, and is battery powered.
